Easter 2015

We had a fun weekend that started on Saturday we braved the freezing cold and took the girls to downey where they had the ages roped off and had different times for the groups. Rae was pretty shy and didn't really want to pick up eggs. Brie and Daddy were out and found all kinds of toys and eggs she wasn't shy and did great. Downey had the Easter bunny on the fire truck so we took the kids for a picture. Rae cried but Brie and Axel did great. We then took the girls to Arimo and they each could get 16 eggs then all the kids got gifts at the end as well. We enjoyed it and we will do it again next year.
Saturday night we dyed eggs and watched a Jesus movie. Then on Sunday the girls were excited to find eggs around the house. We had a great time and yummy food. We went to Nestlers and had dinner and the girls got to go do an Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Nestler's house.

Christmas 2014

We had the opportunity to stay at Nana and Papas on Christmas Eve. We enjoyed time with Auntie and Uncle Shane and little Axel. We had fun playing games and just relaxing. We got up Christmas morning to the girls excitement that Santa had come. The girls did great taking turns opening gifts and being helpful with others. We came home that evening and opened gifts at our house with Grandma and Grandpa Nestler and Aunt Stephy.

December Dance Recital

It has been so fun to watch the girls grow in Dance. They both love to go on Tues nights with there friends. On Dec 13 we had the opportunity to watch them dance. Brie is our little dancer and has changed so much in one yr. She loves to watch her teachers and friends. She did so great on stage. This was Raes first dance recital so we were a little worried. She went out there like a diva and danced her heart out. At one point she forgot her moves and made up her own. We love these girls so much and Thanks to all of our supporters.

Pumpkin patch and carving

We got the opportunity to go to swore farms again this year, on October 4th. The weather was beautiful and warm we only needed light jackets. We played in the maze and on the toys with Jake, Lyn and Hunter then later Cindi, Jed, Carden, and Gannen. The girls had fun and picked out pumpkins. They took us on the hay ride with a big tractor and Mike learned how to do a really cool spay paint picture. Later that night we cooked hot dogs and s'mores over a campfire. A funny thing that happened was Rae had only been potty trained for a few weeks and did really well until a kid smashed her hand and she peed. Mike made make shift pants out of her sweatshirt and a bunji chord. We only got a few dirty looks.

We carved pumpkins on October 21st with Cindi and Jed. Mike carved an amazing pumpkin of faith hill. The girls did great smiley faces and even helped clean there pumpkins out. We baked our seeds and had fun with good friends.

Bries first stitches

On October 9th Brie and Rae were plaing at Grandma Nestlers with Hunter. We were ready to go home when the kids were hiding. We found them in the closet and Brie and Hunter had bumped heads. I thought at first Brie was being dramatic until she moved her hand and blood was running down her head. I decided we needed stitches so I ran her to community care since it was 7pm. Brie was very brave and let the PA stitch her head. However he used epinephrine when I told him no a few min earlier but Brie was a champ.
