These are some of my favorite pictures from the last few months of our two girls.

Seeing Santa

We took the girls to Nana and Papas ward party to see Santa. We ate soup and danced, then saw Santa. Both girls weren't too happy as you will see in pictures.

Braelyn 6 mos

Braelyn had to do six month vaccines and weighs 13.3 lbs. She has been sittin up by herself for a few weeks, and really starting to jibber and laugh. Every time I say mama she says dada lol. Still doesn't like to be on her belly, and must be teething she wants to wake up in the night every two hrs. When I asked the doctor he said time for tough love, we laughed but have been trying. I give her the binky every other time she wakes up and seems to be working hopefully she will start to sleep through the night. We have tried rice cereal and she didn't like it at all, she has loved carrots and applesauce. She wasn't a fan of peas, peaches or banana. She is in 6 mos pjs and clothes, 3 mo onsies.she loves the walker and swing.

Potty training complete

Brie has been good and for the last 5 weeks has been strictly in panties except at night. It definitely was an adventure. We started by no diapers and went to pull ups and for a few weeks that worked, but then Brie thought of them like diapers. Around Halloween we tried panties and rewards of candy, that worked for a few days but Brie wanted to go number two in them. We got frustrated and said back to diapers because Brie thought she was loosing attention to baby sis and her being changed. That lasted about four days before brie wanted to try panties again. We bought princess panties and tried again saying that she had to keep them happy and go into the potty. Then we also tried stickers each time she went. That was it she has been wonderful ever since. She even now wants to go by herself. She is a big girl. She has also cracked us up she has started saying sentences, counts 1 to 10 and is learning colors. She loves Popsicles( sicles to her), baked potatoes, cheese, edamames ( mames), cereal and breakfast sandwiches. I love her "where are u" "daddy no go work"" I no like it" " I eat it all gone" "I did it" "I have to go potty", when baby sis cries she says baby sis is saying" I want mommy" she cracks us up. She loves to dance and play. She recently has stayed with Auntie and Uncle Shane and gives us a play by play on everything that happened. She tells us daily she is going to stay with them and when daddy asks what they give her to love them so much? Her answer is always money lol. I love that she talks in third person.

Pumpkin carving and halloween

We carved pumpkins with cindi and Jed boy has our lives changed the past couple of years. We used to be able to carve a pumpkin make pumpkin seeds in an hr. Not anymore we had to rotate who could carve pumpkins or play referee between the two yr olds. Then of course feed the baby and ourselves lol. It is always a blast. Thankful for the time with great friends, hope u enjoy our fun photos coming as soon as I get hold of the laptop.

Halloween was fun this year and we couldn't ask for more beautiful weather 72 degrees. I worked and got off about 2 pm, I ran to my work to visit a few friends and Brie trick or treat. Then we headed to Nana's work and over to trunk or treat at our church. Wow! All I have to say is our trunk or treat is the way to go full bags in 20 min. I bought 100 fruit snacks and 20 play dough which we left papa and nana to hand out. They said it was gone in 10 min.( that or they stashed some lol). Then Papa, Nana,Auntie, the girls and I went to the mall to meet Derek and Kerry. After 30 min and a few smarties we were done and went to eat Chinese. Thanks for a fun day.

Pumpkin patch

We got the opportunity to go to a pumpkin patch as a family. We got to take a hay ride to the pumpkin patch, Brie even sat on a horse( such a brave girl). We got to walk around and look at pumpkins, Brie even rode in the pumpkin carrier. Then we took Brie and Rae to the corn maze and took some family pictures. Thanks cindi and Jed for the invite.

Braelyn 4 mos

Im a little late, but my little baby is sure growing. She is 11lbs 15 oz 22.5 in long and her head is 41 cm. She is starting to pull herself up when you hold her hands, and is starting to giggle. She is very smiley and loves attention, she even knows to cry already when she doesn't want her sissy to touch her hands. In just the last week she has started to go side to side but hasn't rolled, doesn't like tummy time either. She is generally very happy but after her shots she wasn't so happy and definetly let us know it. She has started to sleep in the pack and play and loves to have her head facing left. She has recently become our binky baby and has started to grab w/her hands. Still in 3 mos clothes and size 1 diapes and wants to eat every 3-4 hrs. she does give me about 5-6 hrs sleep consistently at night

Potty training

Brie has been such a big girl for about 9 days she is officially out of diapers and onto pull ups. She has had very few accidents and tells us when she has to go. In fact she prefers going on the big potty( bonus for mommy and daddy) all she asks as a reward is nandy( candy lol). Now if only we could find fruit and veggie candy. She is really picking up on vocabulary and definitely still has her own words. We are so proud of her she is a big girl.

Braelyn 3 mos

   Im a little late at this post but I wanted to say a few things my baby Rae is doing. She is so happy and has started to coo and smile. She is into 3 mos clothes, size 1 diapers and still wants to eat about every three hrs. She is nice to me and most nights goes about 5-6 hrs between feedings. She still needs to be in a sitting position but we can tell her relux is getting a little better. Its so fun to watch my girls play together and I love to see Rae smile at her big sissy..

   We had a wonderful weekend and had Braelyn's blessing on Sunday at 11am. Daddy did a wonderful blessing and Braelyn didn't make a sound while up there. We are so very proud and thankful that Daddy can use his priesthood and bless my girls. It makes we cry every time because he does such a good job. Then we ran to Ross Park for some pictures and home to feed the family. We had turkey salad sandwiches, potato salad, watermelon, cookies, and desert. Thanks to all those that supported us in this wonderful weekend.

    Hard to believe my baby is 2, she started the morning at about 9am and we had breakfast and opened gifts from Mommy and Daddy. She got her own camera, and a vacuum. She is great at sleeping in her curlformers and then we got her food ready for the day. We had Fried chicken, Butterfly watermelon, potato salad, and green salad. Nana and Mommy had made her butterfly cupcakes the day before. She was hilarious to watch hit her pinata and open her gifts. She would clap for herself and say 'yeah'. We had a blast thanks to all those that came. Brie got very spoiled and loved her party at ok ward park.

Cant tell these two are sisters can you?

   Braelyn is 9 lbs 6 oz so in 10% for weight, 21 in tall so 5% for height and her head is 38 cm so 25%. She is growing too fast, she is starting to watch you go back and forth with her eyes. Also starting to coo and loves the ceiling fans. She does scream alot and you never loose her, starting to get better with her acid reflux. We finally moved her to a size 1 diaper this week and she is starting to really chub up. She still likes to eat about every 3 hrs and has to be in the sitting position to sleep. She refuses a binky and I have a feeling she will be a thumb sucker. She is such a joy and we lover her.
