Pumpkin patch and carving

We got the opportunity to go to swore farms again this year, on October 4th. The weather was beautiful and warm we only needed light jackets. We played in the maze and on the toys with Jake, Lyn and Hunter then later Cindi, Jed, Carden, and Gannen. The girls had fun and picked out pumpkins. They took us on the hay ride with a big tractor and Mike learned how to do a really cool spay paint picture. Later that night we cooked hot dogs and s'mores over a campfire. A funny thing that happened was Rae had only been potty trained for a few weeks and did really well until a kid smashed her hand and she peed. Mike made make shift pants out of her sweatshirt and a bunji chord. We only got a few dirty looks.

We carved pumpkins on October 21st with Cindi and Jed. Mike carved an amazing pumpkin of faith hill. The girls did great smiley faces and even helped clean there pumpkins out. We baked our seeds and had fun with good friends.

Bries first stitches

On October 9th Brie and Rae were plaing at Grandma Nestlers with Hunter. We were ready to go home when the kids were hiding. We found them in the closet and Brie and Hunter had bumped heads. I thought at first Brie was being dramatic until she moved her hand and blood was running down her head. I decided we needed stitches so I ran her to community care since it was 7pm. Brie was very brave and let the PA stitch her head. However he used epinephrine when I told him no a few min earlier but Brie was a champ.
