December Dance Recital

It has been so fun to watch the girls grow in Dance. They both love to go on Tues nights with there friends. On Dec 13 we had the opportunity to watch them dance. Brie is our little dancer and has changed so much in one yr. She loves to watch her teachers and friends. She did so great on stage. This was Raes first dance recital so we were a little worried. She went out there like a diva and danced her heart out. At one point she forgot her moves and made up her own. We love these girls so much and Thanks to all of our supporters.

Pumpkin patch and carving

We got the opportunity to go to swore farms again this year, on October 4th. The weather was beautiful and warm we only needed light jackets. We played in the maze and on the toys with Jake, Lyn and Hunter then later Cindi, Jed, Carden, and Gannen. The girls had fun and picked out pumpkins. They took us on the hay ride with a big tractor and Mike learned how to do a really cool spay paint picture. Later that night we cooked hot dogs and s'mores over a campfire. A funny thing that happened was Rae had only been potty trained for a few weeks and did really well until a kid smashed her hand and she peed. Mike made make shift pants out of her sweatshirt and a bunji chord. We only got a few dirty looks.

We carved pumpkins on October 21st with Cindi and Jed. Mike carved an amazing pumpkin of faith hill. The girls did great smiley faces and even helped clean there pumpkins out. We baked our seeds and had fun with good friends.

Bries first stitches

On October 9th Brie and Rae were plaing at Grandma Nestlers with Hunter. We were ready to go home when the kids were hiding. We found them in the closet and Brie and Hunter had bumped heads. I thought at first Brie was being dramatic until she moved her hand and blood was running down her head. I decided we needed stitches so I ran her to community care since it was 7pm. Brie was very brave and let the PA stitch her head. However he used epinephrine when I told him no a few min earlier but Brie was a champ.

Brie turns 4

Brie is 4 where has the time gone. We had a frozen birthday party a few weeks ago with some friends at home. We played pin the nose on Olaf (daddy made), make your own Olaf, cake walk had frozen hearts(chocolate dipped strawberries), snow cones, melted ice(bottled water). Flower cupcakes and the girls were princesses. We filled water balloons and got wet. Brie is getting so smart. She is picking up matching and knows all of her letters but a few. She is really into princess dress up and makeup.
For her birthday we went to IF zoo and pizza. Mommy and nana took the girls. They loved the lions and sang roar to them. Brie got to ride the Ferris wheel and planes at a park nearby and play outside. Then we met daddy for lunch at Pizza Hut it was a fun day.

Summer fun

We have had fun this summer. We have been to chuckle cheese, train museum, swimming, four wheeling .

Rae turns 2

We love our Braelyn so much, and can't believe she is 2. We had a dragonfly birthday party at our house. We let the kids make there own dragonfly papers and played elefun game. However we didn't check to make sure the bugs were in the box, it's ok we made our own with napkins. We had dragonfly cupcakes and played outside.
Rae is getting so big she knows all of her basic colors, a few letters like o and I. She is talking in full sentences and counts to 13. The girls love to sing the frozen songs and primary song. Rae is really good at I am a child of god, twinkle, itsy bitsy spider, popcorn, and let it go. She is still missing her fangs on the top and bottom teeth. They love to dress up and into makeup. We go in for her 2 yr appt next week. Rae weighs in at 20 lbs and 32 inches long. She started getting her four fangs on top and bottom teeth this week as well. Poor girls they were sick and Rae had an ear infection. She is quite the talker and is very shy which is funny to us.

Easter 2014

This year we opted for painting eggs with dye which worked much better. The girls did really well and enjoyed coloring eggs and putting cute stickers on them. Rae ended up more colored than her eggs thank goodness for baths. Then on Easter Sunday we got to go to church while Daddy worked. I wanted my girls to understand the true meaning of Easter and the it was about the Resurrection. Brie did pretty well and we tried to show the meaning with empty easter eggs resembling the empty tomb. We then went to Papa and Nanas and had Easter dinner w/them and Auntie and Uncle Shane. We will be so excited to have a few more cousins next year. Then the girls found eggs in the back yard. We then came home and the Easter bunny had come to our house and given the girls a basket and they loved hunting for eggs.

Bries Dance Recitals

We are so proud of Brie she has been attending Dance since August. She has met new friends and enjoyed dancing. She is very shy and at times doesn't want to go to dance. We try to explain how fun it is and that its just for Brie. She had her first recital in Dec 2013 she stared off crying but once on stage she just stood there. I was proud that she didn't cry. In April 2014 she had her first competition at blackfoot high. Nana, Auntie, Jaycee, Mommy and Daddy watched her. Brie was pretty scared but ended up standing and licking her lips. Here are a few of her cute pictures. Brie had another recital in May 2014 and did  a cute Daddy daughter dance.
