Hard to believe my baby is 17 mos old going on 17 years with all her girl-tude. Bries personality is really coming out and she is a talker. Most recently she has started throwing tantrums and will lay face down on the ground and cry, she has also learned to say no and uses it frequently. She has also learned uh oh and loves to throw things on the ground and say it. She has become our climber and now goes down the stairs forward facing inching on her bum each stair. Brie also says hi and waves hi and bye, and is now to the point when grandparents and auntie leaves she gets the pouty face. she used to be our kisser and now refuses, and gives her forehead to you. She has been our milk drinker and she knows her toes, nose, eyes and head and will point to them. Brie loves yogurt and oranges,bananas and french fries, and breakfast sandwiches. She loves her dolls and has to go everywhere with both of them. She has said baby and recently points to my belly and kisses. She was my protector at the doctors office and kept pushing the doctor and telling him no. This was also the first time daddy got to feel the baby kick.

My Brie is always into things she shouldn't be, lately its been toilet paper and panty liners. Here of a few of her pictures to make you laugh. Because really what else can you do? She loves to tear the toilet paper into little pieces and loves to unwrap things. So today I went upstairs for a few miniutes and there I found her in a pile of panty liners having a good time pulling them out and unwrapping them. (Nice babysitting Daddy)

We were excited to go to Boise and be with family. We stopped in Jerome and picked up lunch but I put a full pop on the arm rest and of course it got knocked over and spilled. Luckily not on the pile of coats or seat so we spent some time trying to clean it up before getting on the road. We got to Boise where we said our hellos and that night had pizza and games at Kirk and Lisas house, we played guesstures which is always entertaining.

     Sat morning we had breakfast at Eric and Nicoles hung out and got ready for pictures. The grandkids also got to open gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Nestler. Brie loves her baby, stroller, diaper bag and play food. We went to Albertsons park and took family pictures, it was a little cold but not bad. Then left the park back to Erics where we had a big lunch of turkey, ham and all the fixings. That night the grandkids did there exchange and Broden had Brie and got her a fairy flashlight which she loves.then we did the white elephant gifts for adults and Kirk and Lisa had a fun story for who traded with who, it was pretty entertaining.

     Then Nicole had this candy pig where you say your favorite memory from this year and a new years resolution and hit the pig with a hammer. When everyone is done you get to eat the candy. Then we got in warm clothes and went to Gene and Ambers house for New years Eve, where we got more food and to watch fireworks. It's a good thing my new years resolution was to gain weight lol.we came back to Erics where we toasted to the new year with sparkling cider and the boys went to play xbox 360 while Brie and I went to bed. Sunday we slept in had breakfast and played xbox one last time before coming home. Monday we decorated Bries room and hung some pictures.

What could be better than having a week off of work and get to spend time with Brie and Mike? Nothing really, we did just that.

Mike and I had the week after Christmas off and got to enjoy family time. In fact I keep telling everyone I want a redo. Monday we took all the Christmas decorations and tree down, and put Bries kitchen together. Took the bookshelf that was in Bries room downstairs so we could make room for her toys. Tuesday we of course slept in made breakfast and played with Bries toys. We got ready and went to the mall and exchanged some clothes, and of course bought some clothes. We have decided we are Christmas shopping after Christmas next year its so much cheaper. Then we headed to walmart which is always an adventure with Brie in and out of the cart. Then we saw it, Bries kitchen 25 dollars cheaper than the day after thanksgiving grr. Darc and I had to trudge that thing through walmart on black Friday for nothing oh well.

Wednesday started like other morning sleeping in and playing in our pjs. Mike and Brie played with her box from her kitchen and even sat in it to go down the stairs. We laughed and made dinner together. Thursday we cleaned our house and started to pack our bags for the weekend ahead. Friday we got up and ready and drove to Boise for the Nestler Christmas and New Years. Thank goodness we had our portable DVD player it kept Brie entertained.
