Three weeks old

Hard to believe Braelyn is already 3 weeks old, she is such a blessing in our family. It has come with changes though, Brie usually loves her "baby sis" as she calls her but sometimes it's hard to share. Braelyn went down to 4 lb 11 oz when we left the hospital and at our 5 day doctors appt she was back to 5 lbs. We went at almost 3 weeks and she is now 6 lbs. I love to see her smile and she definitely let's us know when she needs attention. She loves to have her hands and arms out when we wrap her and is our blue eyed blonde. She hates diaper changes and goes beat red and holds her breath. We did a chord blood kit for her a LongQT test and should hear back in 3 more weeks. We did a keg on her and Dr Etheridge did say she would doubt she had it so we will keep fingers crossed. We did pictures of the girls which was a challenge but fun. We were all getting over a cold which was no fun. Mike took the first week off, then my mom took the following one, and Mike took this last week. So really I'm on my own for the first week this week. Brie is learning to share and becoming such a big girl. She carries and pats her babies, feeds and wraps them in blankies just like mommy does. She is really good at yes and no and understands the difference. She says kids, birdy, oopsy, juice, play, up, sprout( for her tv shows) loves to sing head shoulders knees and toes. She loves makeup she says apple, peas, candy, ouch, knees, elbow, loves abcs with Elmo. She says neow for kitty, pshhh for elephant, tuutuu for rooster. She has been putting her shoes on by herself and loves outside. Both girls are so fun

Mothers/ Fathers day

Mothers Day

Fathers Day

So since I forgot to write about mothers day we will include it with fathers day. Mothers day I was still pregnant and that week Brie was diagnosed with fifths disease. Poor girl broke out in a rash and itched so we stayed home except for going to visit papa and nanas for dinner. Wher husbands and dads had dinner and cleaned up. Then we just played outside. Fathers day Mike and I and the girls went to my friend Julies baby blessing. It was kind of a test run to see if we could be ready by 11 so when we bless Braelyn. Needless to say getting us ready we were late so we will have to get up earlier lol. Then we came home put Brie down for nap and waited for Nana Papa Auntie, Uncle Shane and Nate to come over so we didn't have to pack up the girls. We had dinner and Uncle Derek and Kerry and Jaz came to visit and we had yummy rhubarb cake and watched a movie. My husband is a wonderful man and husband I would be lost without him. He loves his girls so much and would do anything for them, and yes his girls have him wrapped around there little fingers already. Mike is such a hard worker and doesn't complain when I have him help me in the middle of the night, even though he has 12 hr day of clinicals. We love him so much.
