Spring Day

The girls are getting pretty tired of being stuck inside the house. Last Saturday it was warm enough and no snow so the girls played on the swingset for a little while.

Valentines

This year both Mike and I had to work. So the girls and I went to the store and bought some candy to make Daddy a poster. Then on Valentines night Daddy came home with balloons for the girls. We totally love all of Bries expressions.

Braelyn 9 mos

Rae is 14 lbs 5 oz 25 in long (0%) and her head is 44 cm(50%). She claps her hands and blows raspberries, has recently started crawling a week ago and just the other day has started to wave bye bye. She is getting so big she wants to hold your hands and walk everywhere and pull herself up on things. She also does this funny sniffing with her nose when she gets excited, gives pats on your back when we hold her. Rae also gives just mommy the biggest kisses on my cheeks and makes all kinds of noises. She in the last few weeks sleeps through the night but still no teeth. She is in 6 mo onesies and 9 mo clothes. She is still a mommies girl and loves to be wrapped up. Loves her baths with sissy and is getting good at self feeding snacks. She is also sitting on her knees and loves to dance.

Brie update

Brie is 2 1/2 and getting so smart. Her vocabulary is growing daily and personality. She can count 1-10 and knows colors ( blue, green, red, pink, brown, black, white, yellow, orange and purple). She loves strawberry shortcake and has us watch the movies daily and read her strawberry book. She is so funny some of our favorite sayings are " daddy is this you?" " I need wuves( loves)" " the way she says time out and stop it" she says " I love u baby sissy" and takes care of her. " Brie do it". She is my big helper but also knows how to test us. Time out has become a ritual around here. Brie loves to dress and undress herself and put on her socks and shoes. She also loves to color and read books. She did find out how much fun a roll of toilet paper could be while her Daddy was babysitting. Also she got her first fat/bloody lip when she fell and hit the bathroom counter.

 Funny story a few weeks ago Nana and I had to take the girls to Walmart and Brie was in Nana's cart and I had Rae. I could hear Brie a few aisles away talking then some laughing. When I did catch up to them I found out nana and Brie were walking by a couple and the wife said firmly " yes I did" we'll Brie being 2 said in the same tone " yes I did" . Nana said she stood for a sec not knowing what to do when the lady turned and laughed. I guess we all better be careful how we say things.
