Brielle is 1 party with the Nestlers

We  had a birthday party for Brie with the Nestler's on Aug 5th. Mike got off early we ordered pizzas from Pizza Hut, which I ordered at the wrong one and had to make Carla go pick them up across town(silly me). Steph and Tyler came up from SLC and Grandma and Grandpa Wellard and Grandma and Grandpa Nestler all came over. After Pizza we watched Brie open gifts and she got some toy food and a ball activity which she loves. She got some books from Aunt Steph and Uncle Tyler even one that goes in the tub. She enjoyed  playing with the wrapping paper as always. We then had cake which my mom and auntie made out of cupcakes, a pink bear. We let Brie have one of the cupcakes which she loved eating if it didn't make her hands dirty I think she would have eaten the whole thing. Here is some of our fun.

NO No had to laugh

We have all been feeling pretty yucky, thanks to this cold/flu we caught. But something funny happened yesterday. Brie must be watching me pretty carefully, Mike usually brings her downstairs while Im working to give me morning loves.  This morning I had actually called in sick from work, although its across the hall, and when she saw me her eyes got big and a smile was on her face like she knew. Well I reached out and grabbed her trying to hold my stomach and she looked at me held her finger up and moved it side to side. Just like I tell her when I say No no. I tried to laugh and should have taken a picture but oh well.

We had a fun weekend at Nana and Papas at Kerry's Baby shower. Then we hung out w/Aunt Kelly, Shari, Jaycee, Amaya and played outside and had dinner. We were going to come home but decided to stay overnight. The next morning  we went to church and Nana had to find clothes for all of us. The next morning was the 4th and we went to the parade in Pocatello it was windy and raining but we went anyway. It stopped long enough for the four cars to go through the parade and we came home. Brie loved to wave at everyone and one Fireman came up to her because we were toward the back and handed her candy because he said she was so cute.

Tryin to get the nemo bandaid off

 She got her first cut today on her finger and didn't even cry she grabbed the cooling vent in the hallway. Mike put a bandaid on and she kept tryin to flip it off. She also had a bum rash so we tried to put a cloth diaper on to let her dry out. It was pretty funny and lasted about 15 min.

Brie is 11 mos old and she is crawling all over the place. She has her first tooth comin in and has only been sleeping for a few hrs a night. She is still my little cuddler and pats you when she is tired. She does air kisses and clicks her tongue. She dances to music and is learning to go from one thing to the other walking. She is in nine months clothes and is loving food. She loves grapes, watermelon, cantalope and squash. She doesn't want to nurse or have a bottle so we have to be tricky and put formula in her baby food.. She also pushed the little walker and Nana and Papas yesterday. Brie is really good at waving with both hands and started to learn to blow kisses. She also has learned to stand in her crib so we had to lower the mattress.

We had to go to Primary children's yesterday for our Cardiology appt. to see Dr Etheridge. Brie weighed 14.8 lbs and was 27 in long. She didn't change Bries dosage much still just 1 ml three times a day. But she did have both of us do a Holter. Brie was such a good sport and put her backpack on like such a big girl. Boy have they changed since I started. I remember them being as big as a cassette player and heavy and they would do 6 leads and tape all over. Now we need three leads and no tape and  a little pager size monitor.  I'm grateful I have such a brave girl.

Crawling up the Stairs

Today to my surprise I turned my back for a few minutes and Brie was crawling and already up two stairs. We luckily bought a gate yesterday but had no idea she could climb stairs. She smiled and waved while I took pictures and video but she is so fast she had to do it over and over. Babies are such quick learners.
