Brielle's Seven Months Old

Brie loves the tub and her bath chair.

This was a big month for Brie, she is extremely cuddly and loves to hug. She recognizes Mom and Dad and cries when we leave the room, She definitely is a mommas girl and that's OK by me. She gives 5s to everyone and really smiles and laughs when we are silly. She walks backwards in her walker and we are trying for the forward motion. She has started to dance to the music and arches her back to tell us she wants down.  She is getting good at eating from a spoon and loves her baby food. She is a great sleeper thank goodness and sleeps for about 5-6 hrs stretches at night. She has recently learned how to shake her head no, and recently got a little tooth coming in on the bottom. When she eats she has to make sure she is holding your finger and loves to feel different textures. She loves the bathtub and sitting in her tub chair. Mike let her have the DVD remote and she drooled so much she actually broke the remote and we had to dry it out.  Needless to say she teaches us every day.

Mike and I have been married for four years this year, we decided to go on a little trip. We booked the Venice room at Destinations Inn in Idaho Falls. We ordered Johnny Carinos and ate at the hotel, we also got there early enough and the staff was willing to show us all the rooms which were beautiful. Venice room we loved it has a cool jetted tub and steam shower, We also got the opportunity to go to the Idaho Falls Temple. Thanks to both Grandmas which we couldn't do it without them. We want to say THANK YOU.

Brielle and Carden

I watched Carden for Cindi my friend for a short time today. Brie and Carden are only 5 weeks apart and getting more and more interested in things around them. They were pretty funny at first they both just watched eachother then continued playing. Then it was nap time and at first I tried Carden in the swing and Brie holding and they didnt like that so I put Brie in the swing and Carden held until he fell asleep. Both took turns complaining but tada I did it I put them both to sleep. I was pretty proud of myself.

Reflection

Brie has been getting really funny and showing more of her personality. She has recently found her reflection in the mirror and smiles. She has also really started to get good w/sitting up and laughing when we play.

6 mos shots and first cold

Brie was brave and got her six months shots. I sent Mike to the doctors w/her because I had to work. He said she cried for just a min and then was brave. She got her first cold that week she was stuffy and grouchy but overall a pretty good trouper. She got her shots on 2/15/10

Six Months Old

Brie is six months old already wow how time flies. She is doing great weighs 12.6 lbs and is 24.5 in long. She is eating rice cereal and we gave her baby carrots yesterday. She was really funny eating them and loves the spoons. We watched superbowl at Grandma and Papas house and brie fell asleep on Dads lap  holding the remote. Brie loves to talk away and blow bubbles. She has started to sit up by herself, and laughs at us all the time. She chews on everything she can get her hands on including us. She also grabs at our faces and hands, she pinches the back of my arms and it really hurts.

Cold Outside

Brie and I thought we would go out shopping today but because its so cold I have to put her in a winter suit. Every time I do I feel like im watching A Christmas Story where the little brother says, "I can't put my arms down". when she cries that is what I think she is saying. But, at least I know she is warm.
