I worked Christmas eve day then was off at 3pm. We showered got packed and Grandpa and Grandma Nestler, Uncle Jake, Aunt Lyn and Hunter came over. We opened Christmas pjs and headed to Great Grandma and Grandpa Wellards. Where we ate some food spent time with family until 8pm. Then Mike, Brie and I headed to Nana and Papas house where we ate again, watched a movie and played.

Christmas morning Brie woke up about 8am we got everyone up then started opening presents. It was only our little family, and Nana and Papa so it was pretty relaxed. I handed Brie her first gift and she didnt quite know what to do at first so Papa helped while the rest of us recorded or took pictures. I grabbed the clothes box so Brie was excited but it was short so I quickly grabbed another gift for her to unwrap, must be my luck, more clothes lol. For sure the next one would be a toy and was Brie got a cash register and baby which she loves.

We then went to church which seemed so fitting and we loved remembering what Christmas is really about. It made me so grateful for what I have in my life, a loving husband and daughter in which my life would not be complete without. Our journey we have in front of us and the opportunity we have to expand our family. In moments like this I have to think of my wonderful friend Julie and her family at this time, sometimes we really don't know how life can change in a moment. For this we live everyday to it's fullest and remember to tell each other how much we love each other.

Christmas night we came home and opened our gifts at our house and Brie opened her kitchen. Grandma and Grandpa Nestler came over and watched then we watched a movie.

We had a wonderful Christmas thanks to all of our family and are so grateful for everyone.
